Following news of the disasterous first earthquake in Nepal in 2015, the Wilderness Solutions team decided that something needed to be done to offer support to friends and colleagues - and their communities - in the region. So, in super-quick time, Paul and a great friend of WS, Nick Sprague, donned walking boots and set off to London. The aim was to 'yomp' (walk) from our office in Devon to the Nepali Embassy, a distance of approx 170 miles - in 5 days. The tired legs and sore feet were worth it - the yomp raised a staggering £50,000 donated to the Himalayan Trust UK and to Shelterbox, two charities dedicated to delivering maximum impact and value. An emotional but intensely rewarding week!
